If you’re not seeing an expected asset (like a Page, Pixel, or Ad Account) inside Koast, the issue is almost always related to permissions or the Meta profile you used during integration.

🚨 What is likely happening? 🚨

Each Koast ad account has its own unique integration (brand), tied to a specific Meta (Facebook) profile. If the integrated profile doesn’t have access to the asset, it won’t appear in Koast, even if you have access through another profile.

Step-by-Step: Check & Fix missing assets 🔧

Step 1: Figure out what is missing

Identify whether you’re missing a:

  • Facebook Page

  • Pixel

  • Ad Account

  • Catalog for Shopping campaigns or other Meta assets that are critical for campaign launch

Step 2: Check the connected Meta profile

To confirm which profile is tied to the Koast Ad Account:

Each Koast ad account has the ability to have it's own unique integration with one profile if you are not pulling assets from and existing profile integration.

Step 3: Verify Permissions in Meta Business Manager

Using the same profile shown in Koast:

  • Log in to Meta Business Manager

  • Go to Business Settings

  • Check the profile’s access level for the asset (Page / Dataset / Instagram Account / Conversion Event, etc.) in question

You should have Manage or Full Control access for the asset to appear in Koast. If your integrated profile does not have full perms to the assets needed, it will NOT populate within Koast even if you have used the asset in another manner.

4. Refresh the assets in Koast

If permissions were recently updated:

This will refresh access tokens and pull in any newly available assets if permissions have been updated or it was not retrieved in the initial API request.

Additional info: If your current connected profile doesn’t (and won’t) have access to a needed asset, you can integrate an additional Meta profile into Koast.

This allows you to:

  • Use different profiles for different Ad Accounts

  • Access all assets without needing to reassign ownership in Meta

  • Avoid permission conflicts across client accounts or business units
