Connect Koast to your AI assistant

What the Koast MCP server is, and what an assistant can do with it once it's connected.

Koast runs an MCP server. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that speaks MCP, and that assistant can read your campaign numbers, build a launch with you and publish it, using the same operations the Koast app uses.

What MCP is

Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting an assistant to a real system. Koast's server lives at https://mcp.koast.ai/mcp. You connect it once in your assistant, sign in as yourself, and choose what it's allowed to do.

There's no key to paste for most clients and nothing to self host. The assistant registers itself and sends you to a normal Koast sign in screen.

What it can do

JobWhat that looks like
Read performance"Which ad sets are over target CPA this week?" Spend, results, cost per result and delivery status at campaign, ad set or ad level.
Build a launchCampaigns, ad sets and ads assembled into a real Koast batch, with your naming conventions and tracking applied. Anyone on your team can open it in the app.
Edit live campaignsBudgets, schedules, statuses and targeting, through the same validation the app uses.
PublishOnly with the Publish scope, and only under a publish limit you set.

It works on Meta brands and on Koast ad accounts. Each brand offers only what its ad provider supports.

What it can't do

The list of tools your assistant sees is filtered every time, by four things: the access you granted, your role on the team, your plan, and what the active brand's ad provider supports. A read only connection sees 33 tools. A connection with Read, Write and Publish on a Meta brand sees 71.

A missing tool is an answer, not an obstacle

If a tool isn't on the list, the server refuses the call and says which access would have carried it. It doesn't find a different tool with the same side effect.

One brand per conversation

A conversation works on one brand at a time. Your assistant lists the brands you can reach, you pick one, and everything after that is scoped to it. Switching brands mid conversation changes which tools are available, because providers differ.
