Invite your team
Invite teammates to your organization and give each one a role and the ad accounts they need.
Invite teammates by email, pick their role, and choose which ad accounts they can work in. They get an email with a temporary password and can sign in right away.
Before you start
- You need to be the Owner or an Admin. Other roles don't see the Organization tab.
- You need a free seat. The Members row shows how many are left.
- Each person can belong to only one organization. Someone already in another Koast organization can't be invited.
Invite a teammate
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and select Settings, then Organization.
On the Members tab, select Invite next to Members.
In Invite New Members, type the teammate's Email.
Pick a Role. See Roles and permissions for what each one can do.
Under Ad Accounts, choose the ad accounts they can use, or All Ad Accounts. For a Media Buyer that option reads All Current Ad Accounts. Choosing Admin selects every ad account for you and locks the list.
To invite more people at once, select Add another user. You can send up to 5 at a time. Then select Send Invites.
What happens next
Each teammate gets an email called Set your Koast password with a temporary password. The Set your password button opens the login page with it filled in, where they choose their own password.
They show up in Team members straight away. Until they sign in, you can select Resend on their row to send the email again. You can resend once every 5 minutes, and in between the button reads Sent.
Change or remove access
- Change a role or ad accounts. Select Edit on the teammate's row, make your changes in Edit User Permissions, then Save Changes.
- Remove a teammate. In Edit User Permissions, select the delete icon, then Remove. To add them back later, contact support.
Good to know
- Seat limit. When every seat is taken, Invite is disabled with "You have reached your organization's user limit." Sending an invite over the limit fails with:
- Already in another organization. Koast refuses the invite with "User with that email is already in another organization."
- Teammates only see their ad accounts. Everyone except Owners and Admins works only in the ad accounts you gave them.
