Cancel your subscription

Cancel your Koast subscription, what happens to your account afterwards and how to undo it before it takes effect.

You can cancel your Koast subscription yourself from Settings, Billing. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for, and you can change your mind until then.

Before you start

  • Only the organization's owner can cancel. The Billing tab isn't shown to anyone else.
  • Cancelling your Koast subscription doesn't stop your ads. Campaigns that are live on Meta or on a Koast ad account keep running and spending until you turn them off.

Cancel

  1. Open Settings, then Billing, and scroll to Koast subscription.

  2. Select Cancel subscription. Koast confirms that you'll be moved to the free plan at the end of your billing cycle. Select Next.

  3. Tell us what we could have done better, in at least 10 characters, and select Next.

  4. Select Confirm & Cancel.

You'll see "Subscription cancelled successfully". While it goes through, Koast offers you $50 for a 10-minute feedback call. Book one if you'd like, or select Skip for now.

On an earlier plan?

If your plan's price has since gone up for new customers, Koast warns you before you cancel: once you cancel, you can't get your original price back.

What happens next

  • You keep full access to your plan until the end of the current billing period. Billing shows the date under Upcoming plan.
  • On that date, your organization moves to the free plan and you're no longer charged for Koast.

Change your mind

Until the end of the billing period, you can undo the cancellation:

  1. Open Settings, Billing, and find Upcoming plan.

  2. Select Stop change, then Stop Change in the dialog.

You stay on your current plan as if you'd never cancelled.

Refunds

Refunds aren't handled in the app. If you're within the 30-day satisfaction guarantee on Growth, message us from the chat bubble and we'll take care of it.
