Billing

Charges and invoices explained

What each charge from Koast is for, how ad spend is billed for each kind of ad account, and how to get your invoices.

There are two kinds of money on your statement: what you pay Koast for the software, and what you pay the ad platform to run your ads. They're always separate. Koast doesn't take a cut of your ad spend, except on an ad account you requested in your Business Manager: the fee on funds you add to it, or the fee on its ad spend when you pay for it by card.

What Koast charges

All of these go on the card under Payment method in Settings, Billing.

ChargeWhen
Your planEvery month, or every year on yearly billing. Settings, Billing shows the amount and your Next invoice date.
One-time setup feeOnce, on Growth. It covers guided onboarding and applying any account-level certifications and whitelisting.
Additional ad accountsA prorated amount the day you add them, then with each plan renewal.
Moving from monthly to yearly billingThe prorated difference, the day you switch.
Koast's Business Manager$500 a month for your organization, however many ad accounts you have on it, from the day Koast approves your first request, then with each plan renewal: 12 months at once on yearly billing. Each page past the first in a request is $100, once, charged when Koast approves that request. See Use Koast's Business Manager.

Changes that lower what you pay, like removing extra ad accounts or moving to a lower plan, take effect at the end of your billing period. You aren't charged or refunded partway.

If a subscription payment fails

Update the card under Payment method: select Update, enter the new card and select Update Billing. If the charge still doesn't go through, message us. Until the payment goes through, Koast Agent and AI images run on the free allowance.

Invoices and receipts

Billed to in Settings, Billing shows the name, address and billing email that appear on your Koast invoices. Koast doesn't list past invoices in the app yet. If you need a copy of an invoice or a receipt, message us from the chat bubble.

For Meta ad spend, Meta's own billing has your receipts. The weekly statements for ad accounts paid by card come by email.
