Get a verified ad account in your Business Manager
Request a verified Meta ad account from inside Koast. It's created for you, shared into your own Business Manager and connected in Koast.
Koast can get you a verified Meta ad account of your own. Our ad account partner verifies your business, creates the ad account and shares it into your Business Manager, and Koast connects it for you. It usually takes about an hour. You launch on it from Koast like any other Meta ad account, and you pay for its ads by adding funds through Koast.
Reviewed by Koast first
Koast reviews every request before it goes to our ad account partner, usually within a few hours on business days. While it waits, the first stage of the timeline reads Koast is reviewing your request.
Before you start
- Your Business Manager ID. Find it in Meta Business Settings, under Business info. If Facebook is connected in Koast, you can pick the Business Manager from a list instead.
- Your business details: legal name, address, phone and website, plus a tax or VAT ID if the business has one.
- What you sell, the pages your ads will link to, and two or three example ads (images or videos). These accounts are for compliant (white hat) offers only: check what can run on these accounts first.
- A LegitScript certificate or listing link if you sell telehealth, NAD+ or GLP-1 products.
- Two verification documents: your incorporation documents, and an ID of the person who signs for the business. You only send them once.
- The same rules as any new ad account apply: any member of your organization except View Only can start one, as long as you're under your plan's ad account limit.
Open the request
Pick one of these, then choose In your Business Manager:
- In the sidebar, open the brand switcher and select Create new ad account.
- Open Settings, then Ad Accounts, select Add ad account, then Create new ad account.
- During onboarding, the ad account step offers the same two choices.
The other choice, Managed by Koast, creates a Koast ad account instead. See No Facebook profile? Create a Koast ad account.
Fill in the request
Your business
Fill in Legal business name, Website, Business address, City, Postal code, Country and Business phone. Tax / VAT ID and State / region are optional. Select Continue.
Ad account details
Type the Ad account name. Pick your Business Manager, or type its Business Manager ID. Set the Timezone, the Currency (USD or EUR), How many accounts you want (1 to 5) and the Main country you advertise in.
Your landing pages and ads
Say What you sell in a few words. Pick a Special Ad Category if your offer is about credit or debt, jobs or housing (otherwise leave None), and paste your LegitScript certificate or listing link if you have one. Under Landing pages you will send traffic to, add every page your ads will link to. Select Upload ad to add a few Example ads (an image, MP4 or MOV). If you already run ads, paste your Meta Ad Library page under Ad library link.
Verify your business
Upload your Incorporation documents (a certificate or articles of incorporation) and a Signing officer ID (a passport or driver's license of the person who signs), each as a PDF or an image. Koast keeps them on file, so your next request skips this step.
Review your request
Check everything, then select Submit request.
Follow it
After you submit, Your ad account is on its way shows where the request is. There's nothing else to do. Close it whenever you like. While the request is in progress, the brand switcher lists it under the ad account's name, with where it is underneath. Select it to open the timeline again.
| Stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Request sent | Your details and documents are in. Koast reviews the request, then sends it to our ad account partner. |
| Business verified | Your company passed verification. |
| Account being created | A new Meta ad account is being created for you. |
| Shared into your Business Manager | It now appears in your Business Manager. |
| Connected in Koast | It's attached to your workspace, and you can launch on it from Koast. |
| Funds added | Your first funds landed on the ad account. |
When the account is connected, the timeline reads Your ad account is ready and lists your ad accounts. You also get an email. Each ad account becomes its own brand, named after the ad account name you chose. If you asked for more than one, the next ones get a number after the name. To start spending, add funds.
How Koast connects it
Koast attaches the ad account through your Facebook login, so it needs a Facebook profile that can reach your Business Manager.
- Facebook isn't connected yet. Koast emails you to connect Facebook. Open Settings, then Facebook under Integrations, and connect the profile that has access to the Business Manager. See Connect Meta and pick your ad accounts.
- Your profile can't see the ad account yet. If Koast still can't reach it about an hour after it was shared, you get an email asking you to accept the ad account share. In Meta Business Settings, accept the share, then assign yourself to the ad account with full control.
Either way, Koast checks again every few minutes and connects the ad account on its own.
What can run on these accounts
Every request is reviewed before the ad account is created, and every ad still goes through Meta's review. Approval covers the site as it was reviewed, so tell us before you change offers, prices or landing pages: a big change needs a new review, and live sites are spot-checked.
Not allowed, whatever the ad looks like:
- Peptides, kits or "research compound" offers
- THC or cannabis products (kratom included)
- Adult products, nudity or sexually suggestive creative
- Counterfeits, replicas, or brand logos you aren't licensed to sell
- Crypto, trading, forex signals, gambling or betting
- Selling followers, likes, views, or aged and monetized accounts
- Spyware, or AI-generated models used for explicit content
- Political figures, fake petitions or impersonating public offices
- Miracle healing, "remove bad luck", or guaranteed job or income promises
Allowed only with the right paperwork or setup:
- Telehealth, NAD+ and GLP-1: only with a current LegitScript certification. Add the certificate or listing link to your request.
- Debt relief, loans, credit, jobs and housing: only under the matching Special Ad Category, with conservative wording and no promised outcome.
- Concert or match tickets: only with a valid licence or proof that you're an authorized reseller.
Every ad and landing page:
- Discounts of 60% or less, with real original prices. No "free" products or fake clearance or closing-down sales.
- No countdown timers, "sale ends today" or fake scarcity.
- No before and after images, guaranteed or unrealistic results, or medical or earning claims.
- No copy that calls out the viewer's weight, health, finances, age, race or religion ("Are you overweight?").
- No celebrities or public figures without written permission.
- The ad and the page say the same thing: same product, same price, same claims. Pages load over https on desktop and mobile, with no redirects or cloaking.
- Your site shows your company name, contact details, a privacy policy, terms, and a refund or shipping policy.
Not sure about a product or an ad? Message us before you request or launch. It's faster than a rejection.
Good to know
- Political ads aren't supported on these ad accounts.
- Regulated offers. For telehealth, NAD+ or GLP-1, add your LegitScript certificate or listing link to the request. Without it, those offers can't run.
- If a request isn't approved, the timeline reads Your request was not approved and gives the reason.
- Your documents are shared only with our verified ad account partner, and only to create your accounts.
- To cancel a request, message us. Once the ad account is being created, it can no longer be cancelled.
