Import from Google Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io
Bring creatives into Koast from Google Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io.
Connect Google Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io once, then pull images and videos into your creative library without downloading them first. Imported files are copied into Koast.
Before you start
- The ad account you're working in needs a working Facebook connection. Imports go through it, so without one Koast refuses the import (see below).
- For Frame.io, you need a Frame.io V4 account, the current version run by Adobe.
- Whether you see the Google Drive and Dropbox tabs depends on your role's permissions.
Connect a service
Open Settings, then pick Google Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io under Integrations.
Select Connect Google Drive, Connect Dropbox or Connect Frame.io.
Sign in to the account you want to import from and allow access. For Frame.io, sign in with the Adobe profile that owns your Frame.io workspace.
Once connected, the tab shows Import assets and Disconnect integration. Select Disconnect any time to remove the connection.
Import files
Open Creatives and select Add Creatives.
Pick Import from Google Drive, Import from Dropbox or Import from Frame.io. You can also start from the service's tab in Settings.
Choose what to bring in, then confirm.
Find the files under Imported in the view menu once they arrive.
What you can pick differs by service:

| Frame.io | Files. Browse into folders, tick the files and select the import button, which shows how many files you picked. Keep the window open until it finishes. Files already in your library are skipped. |
How long an import takes depends on how much you bring in.
If the import is refused
The same message names Dropbox or Frame.io when you import from those. Imports need a Facebook connection on the ad account you're working in. Connect Facebook in Settings, Facebook, then try again. If Facebook is connected but the token is no longer valid, you see "A valid Facebook integration is required to import media from …". Reconnect Facebook. See Reconnect Facebook and refresh assets.
Koast ad accounts can't import yet
A Koast ad account has no Facebook connection, so importing from Google Drive, Dropbox and Frame.io doesn't work for it yet. Upload the files from your computer instead. Koast ad account
Frame.io says "Your Adobe account has no Frame.io access". Adobe sign-in worked, but that profile doesn't have a Frame.io V4 account. Sign in with the Adobe profile that owns your Frame.io workspace. Legacy Frame.io accounts have to be upgraded to V4 by Adobe before they can connect.
