Create ad images with the agent
Ask Koast Agent for new ad images in your brand's style, based on the references you pick, then rate, edit, resize and use them.
Koast Agent makes new ad images for the brand you have selected. It learns your brand's look from your website, bases each round on references you choose, and saves every image to your creative library, ready to put in an ad.
Before you start
- Pick the brand first. Images are made for the brand that's selected, and saved to that brand's creative library.
- Use Agent mode. In Plan mode the agent can't make images.
- Turn Fast mode off. With Fast on, the agent stops before it makes anything and shows Fast mode is on. For this task, turn Fast mode off to get the best results. Pick Turn off Fast and continue (recommended) or Continue in Fast.
Make a round of ads
Ask the agent. On Home, or in an empty agent chat, select Generate creatives. You can also type
/creative-generation, or ask in your own words, such as "Make 3 new ads for Vela Daily Greens in 4:5 and 9:16".The first time, the agent learns your brand. It asks which website shows your brand, then reads it. You see Reading vela.example with a progress bar while it collects your fonts, colours, logos and product images. This takes a minute or two. The agent saves what it finds for the brand, so the next round starts straight away. You don't need to approve it: ask the agent any time to change a colour, a font or the voice.
Answer What should I base the new ads on? Pick one or more: References you pick, Your past winners or Winners from top brands. Then select Generate ads. If you picked references, the button reads Choose references instead.
If you chose References you pick, a picker opens in the chat. Search the Ad Library by an advertiser's website (like brand.com) or start from one of the suggested searches, or search Pinterest or Cosmos by keyword. Ad Library results show the ads that have run longest first, with how many days each has run. To use your own images, open the Creatives library tab. Select the images you like, then Generate ads.
The agent asks this question once per chat. If you attach your own images to your request, it skips the question and builds on those.
What a round looks like
- How many. Unless you give a number, 10 ads for each source you picked, so 30 when you pick all three.
- Grouped by idea. Each source gets its own row: From your references, From your winning ads, From winning ads on Meta, or New ideas.
- Sizes. New ads come in 4:5 unless you ask for other sizes. You can ask for 1:1 for the feed and 9:16 for Stories and Reels.
- Timing. Images appear in the chat as each one is ready. A round usually takes 15 seconds to a minute; larger rounds can take up to 4 minutes.
- In your library. Every image is saved to the brand's creative library with an ID, the number under each tile.
- A short write-up. The agent describes each idea in a line or two and says which version it thinks is strongest.
Rate, change and reuse what you get
Hover over an image to see its buttons.
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Like and Dislike | Tell the agent which ads you'd run. It remembers them for this brand and follows your taste in later rounds. |
| Edit | Puts the image in the composer. Describe one change, such as a new headline or colour, and send. The original stays as it is. |
| More like this | Makes 3 more ads like this one. |
| Use in an ad | Asks the agent to put the image in an ad. |
| More actions | Resize to 1:1, Resize to 4:5 or Resize to 9:16 (the other sizes of this image), and Download. |
Select the circle on several images to get a bar with Use as references (they go into your next message) and Use these in ads. Select Generate more like these next to a row's title for 10 more ads built the same way. Click an image to see it full size.
Because every image is a normal creative in your library, you can also pick it later in Add ads, like any creative you uploaded.
Ads for another website
Ask for ads for a website that isn't your brand's own, such as another brand you work on, and the agent reads that site for this chat only. Your brand's saved style stays as it is. The images are still saved in the selected brand's creative library.
If something goes wrong
- A tile reads Failed or Refused. Hover over it to see why, then select Retry failed under the round.
- None of the images came back. Select Try again.
- The model refused this request. The request hit a content policy, often because of a named person, another brand or a sensitive word. Ask again in other words.
- Ads Meta would reject. The agent won't make ads that imply something about the viewer (such as their health, weight or money), before-and-after bodies, fake buttons or other brands' logos. It tells you, and makes the closest version that passes.
- A search in the picker says it's busy. Select Try again after a moment.
Make the images with Higgsfield
If you have a Higgsfield account, you can have the agent make your ads with it. Open Settings, then Higgsfield, and connect your account. The next time you ask for ads, the agent asks once whether to use it: "Make these ads with your Higgsfield account? It uses your Higgsfield credits." Your answer holds for later chats. Change it any time with Use Higgsfield for ad creatives in the same settings tab. If you connected by signing in (not with an API key), Import from Higgsfield under Add Creatives in Creatives brings in the images and videos you made there.
