Mentions, slash commands and attachments
Point the agent at accounts, campaigns and files with @, / and attachments.
The composer understands three shortcuts: @ to point at an account or campaign, / for ready-made requests, and the attach button for files and creatives. The placeholder reminds you: Ask about your campaigns... try @ or /.
Mention an account or campaign
Type @ in the composer, then start typing a name.
Pick from the list with the arrow keys and Enter or Tab, or click it. Results are grouped into Ad accounts, Batches, Campaigns, Ad sets and Ads.
The mention becomes a chip in your message. Mentions matter most in a chat started from Home or All Accounts, where no campaign is open: the agent uses your mention to know exactly which one you mean instead of guessing.
Use a slash command
Type /, pick a command and send. The command drops in as a chip and sends a fixed request.
| Command | What it asks for |
|---|---|
/account-triage | What needs your attention today, ranked |
/scale-finder | Winners ready to scale today |
/change-recap | What changed across the account in the last 24 hours |
/creative-winners | Your best-performing creatives |
/client-summary | A client-ready performance summary |
/pacing-forecast | Where spend lands by month-end |
/today's-pulse | Today's daily account briefing |
/creative-fatigue-audit | Ads that are tired and need a refresh |
/team-report | Your team's activity over the last 7 days |
/apply-template | Apply a structure template to this campaign |
/template-from-campaign | Turn this campaign into a reusable structure template |
/new-pipeline-ticket | Create a new pipeline ticket |
The first nine are the one-click reports. The last three work with structure templates and the Pipeline.
Attach files and creatives
Select the + button (tooltip Attach) in the composer and pick a source:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Attach files | Uploads images, videos, PDFs, Word documents, .txt or .md files from your computer. Documents can be up to 25MB. |
| Creatives library | Picks creatives you already have in Koast. |
| Google Drive | Picks files from Google Drive. |
| Dropbox | Picks files from Dropbox. |
| Frame.io | Picks files from Frame.io. |
If Google Drive, Dropbox or Frame.io isn't connected yet, you'll see a message such as Connect Google Drive to continue and Koast opens the integrations settings so you can connect it.
Attachments stay available for the whole chat. You don't need to attach a creative again later in the conversation. The agent uses creatives by their name, type and numbers; it doesn't look at the image or video itself.
Sending
- Enter sends your message.
- Shift+Enter starts a new line.
- While the @ or / list is open, Enter picks the highlighted item instead, and Esc closes the list.
Good to know
- Google Drive, Dropbox and Frame.io each have to be connected before you can pick from them. Koast opens the right settings tab if they aren't.
- Documents go up to 25MB. Koast takes PDFs, plain text, CSV, Markdown,
.docxand.xlsx. The Dropbox picker allows larger files, up to 1000MB. - A creative imported from Drive or Frame.io is matched back to your message by its file name, so two creatives with near-identical names can be mixed up.
- View Only teammates can't send messages to the agent, unless they're also an organization admin.
