Missing pages, pixels or ad accounts
Find out why a page, pixel, Instagram account or ad account isn't showing up in Koast, and bring it back.
This page covers a Facebook Page, pixel, Instagram account or ad account that you know exists but that Koast doesn't list. It applies to Meta ad accounts. Almost every time, the cause is permissions on the Facebook profile you connected.
What you see
In the campaign settings, a picker comes up empty:
Or, while you pick an ad account in Settings, Facebook:
It can also look quieter: the picker has items, just not the one you need.
Why it happens
Koast sees your assets through one Facebook profile: the one you connected for this ad account. If that profile can't reach an asset in Meta Business Manager, Koast can't list it, even if you can reach it yourself through another profile.
It can also be timing. Koast keeps a copy of your pages, pixels and Instagram accounts, so something you created or shared a moment ago won't show until you refresh.
How to fix it
Work out what's missing
A Facebook Page, a pixel, an Instagram account, an ad account or a catalog. Note its exact name.
Check which profile is connected
Open Settings, then Facebook. Under Connected Ad Account Summary, the Facebook profile row shows who Koast connects as, and the counts show how many pages, pixels and Instagram accounts it can see.
Give that profile access in Business Manager
Log in to Meta Business Manager as someone who can manage the asset. Open Business Settings, find the asset and give the profile from the previous step Manage or Full control. Anything less and the asset won't reach Koast. For a pixel, also check it's connected to the ad account: see Connect a Meta pixel to an ad account.
Refresh your assets
Back in Settings, Facebook, select Refresh Assets. Koast does a full refresh of the connected pages, pixels and Instagram accounts from Facebook. You can also select REFRESH ASSETS in the campaign's settings, next to the asset pickers.
Refreshing is rate limited. If the button is greyed out, you'll see "Asset refresh limit reached. Please try again in a few minutes." Wait, then try again.
If that profile will never have access
Connect a different Facebook profile that does. Each ad account in Koast can use its own profile, so you don't have to move ownership around in Meta. See Several Facebook profiles or Business Managers.
If Instagram accounts are missing
The Instagram account has to be a professional account linked to a Facebook Page. See Instagram accounts. If none load at all, reconnect Facebook and approve every permission Koast asks for: see Facebook connection problems.
