Several Facebook profiles or Business Managers
Run ad accounts that sit under different Facebook profiles by giving each profile its own brand.
Each brand in Koast keeps its own Facebook connection. So when your ad accounts sit under two Facebook profiles, you connect the second profile on a brand of its own.
Several Business Managers, one profile
If one Facebook profile can reach all your Business Managers, you don't need anything special. Every ad account that profile can reach shows up when you import. Follow Add or import another Meta ad account.
A second Facebook profile
In the sidebar, open the brand switcher and select Import from Meta.
In Import an ad account from Meta, type a name under Ad Account Name. Leave Meta Ad Account empty.
Select Setup Ad Account. Koast creates the brand and switches to it. It has no Facebook connection yet.
In this browser, make sure Facebook is signed in as the second profile. Signing out of Facebook first, or using a private window, works too.
Open Settings, then Facebook, and select Connect Facebook Ad Account.
In Facebook's dialog, continue as the second profile and leave every permission on.
Back in Koast, pick the ad account from the Ad account list and select Confirm Selection.
The Connected Ad Account Summary shows the second profile under Facebook profile. Your other brands keep the profile they had.
A teammate with the Owner, Admin or Media Buyer role and access to the second profile can do steps 4 to 7 from their own login, once they switch to that brand. See Invite your team.
Good to know
- Connecting always lands on the brand you're in. Check the switcher before you select Connect Facebook Ad Account. Connecting a different profile on an existing brand replaces that brand's connection, and if the new profile can't reach its ad account, Koast asks you to pick one again.
- To add more ad accounts from the second profile, stay on that brand and use Import from Meta. The list comes from the brand you're in.
- Each brand counts toward your plan's ad account limit. Growth includes up to 10.
- An ad account can only live in one brand. If it's already in another brand, remove it there first.
