No Facebook profile? Create a Koast ad account
Create a Koast ad account inside Koast in five steps, with no Facebook profile or ad platform login.
A Koast ad account is an ad account Koast creates for you. You don't need a Facebook profile or any ad platform login. Koast ad accounts are provided through our partner Whop, which runs the ad account behind the scenes and bills its ad spend.
Before you start
- Any member of your organization except View Only can create one, as long as you're under your plan's ad account limit (up to 10 on Growth). At the limit, the option is greyed out: "You're at your Ad Account limit. Upgrade your plan to setup more."
- Have a card ready. It pays for this ad account's ad spend.
- If you have a website, have access to its code or to whoever edits it, for the tracking snippet.
Open the wizard
Pick one of these:
- In the sidebar, open the brand switcher and select Create new ad account.
- Open Settings, then Ad Accounts, select Add ad account, then Create new ad account.
- During onboarding, select I DON'T HAVE A PROFILE, or CREATE A NEW AD ACCOUNT on the account list.
Create the ad account
Name your ad account
Type a name under Ad account name and select Create ad account.
Add a page to advertise from
Every ad runs from a page. Under Already have a page?, select Connect a Facebook Page to bring one you already have. Or fill in Facebook page name and Tell us about your business and select Create my page. The name is what people see on your ads, and it can't be changed once the page exists. You can also select Skip for now and add it later.
Track conversions on your site
Select COPY SNIPPET and paste it into the
<head>of every page in your funnel. Or select COPY PROMPT and hand the instructions to your developer or AI coding tool. Select CHECK INSTALLATION to confirm it's there, then Continue. Without the snippet, Koast can only count traffic, not sales.Add a payment method
Enter your card in the secure card form. It pays for this ad account's ad spend. Select Finish, or Done if you're picking the wizard back up.
Sign the advertising agreement
Type the Full name of the person signing, draw your signature in Your signature (or select Upload an image instead), tick the box to agree to the Whop Advertising Terms on behalf of your business, and select Sign and finish.
The wizard closes and your ad account is ready. You can launch whenever you're ready.
Leave now, finish later
You can close the wizard at any step. Koast remembers where you were, and picks up at the tracking, payment or signature step when you come back. Until the card and the signature are done, the brand switcher shows a warning icon while that account is the active one. Hover it and select Add payment method or Sign the agreement to carry on. A skipped page can be added later in Settings, Ad Accounts.
Good to know
- Launching waits for the card and the signature. Until both are done, launching is blocked:
Saving a card isn't quite enough on its own. It also has to be the ad account's ads payment method, and Koast tells you when it isn't: "Your card is saved but is not set as this ad account's ads payment method."
- Use a card from the country you're in. Koast checks the card's issuing country against where you're using Koast from. If they differ, it warns you: "Your card's country does not match your current location." Our payment provider declines charges on a mismatched card. Use a card issued in the country you're in, or contact support.
- Sign like you would on paper. Use a real handwritten signature, drawn or photographed. Whop reviews it, and a signature it won't accept comes back with its own reason. Fix it and sign again.
- Signing doesn't change your price. Nothing you sign here changes what you pay for Koast. Ad spend is billed per ad account, separately from your subscription. See Pay for ad spend.
- What works on Koast ad accounts. Most launch settings work. A few Meta-only features don't, like carousel ads and lead forms. See What works on Meta and what works on Whop.
