Add or import another Meta ad account
Bring another Meta ad account into Koast. It becomes its own brand, and Koast switches you to it.
In Koast, one brand runs one ad account. To work with another Meta ad account, you import it. Koast creates a brand for it and switches you there.
Before you start
- Connect Facebook first. The list shows the ad accounts the current brand's Facebook profile can reach. See Connect Meta and pick your ad accounts.
- If Facebook isn't connected on this brand yet, choosing Import from Meta takes you to the Facebook tab first. Connect there, then come back.
Import the ad account
In the sidebar, open the brand switcher and select Import from Meta. Or open Settings, then Ad Accounts, select Add ad account, then Import from Meta.
In Import an ad account from Meta, type the name you want to see in Koast under Ad Account Name.
Open Meta Ad Account and pick the account. You can search by name or ID.
Select Setup Ad Account.
Koast shows "Setup Ad Account successfully!", creates the brand and makes it your active one.
The command palette has a shortcut too: press ⌘K and choose Setup New Ad Account.
Good to know
- The switcher labels change with your providers. With Meta and Whop both available, you'll see Import from Meta and Import from Whop. With only one, it reads Import ad account.
- Limits. Every brand counts toward your plan's ad account limit: up to 10 on Growth, unlimited on Enterprise. At the limit the import options are greyed out with "You're at your Ad Account limit. Upgrade your plan to setup more."
- One brand per ad account. An ad account can't sit in two brands. If it's already in another brand, remove it there first. See Remove or restore an ad account.
- Ad account not in the list? Your Facebook profile can't reach it. Check its access in Business Manager, then reconnect and select Refresh Assets. If it belongs to a different profile, see Several Facebook profiles.
