Destinations (formerly Offers)

Save the landing pages your ads send people to and reuse them across launches.

A destination is the page your ads send people to, saved with the details Koast uses to write copy for it. Destinations used to be called Offers. Create one per product and reuse it every time you launch.

Where destinations live

There's no separate page for destinations any more. You pick, create and edit them from the Destination field in Copy Settings, both in the Add Ads wizard and in Generate Ads on the Creatives page. Each ad account has its own destinations.

Create a destination

  1. In Copy Settings, open the Destination field.

  2. Pick + Create New Destination. Or paste a URL into the field and press Enter to create one from that URL straight away.

  3. Fill in the form (below) and select Create New Destination.

To change one, pick it in the field and select Edit. Save with Save Changes, or remove it with Delete Destination.

The fields

FieldWhat to put in it

Display LinkThe link shown on your ad instead of the actual URL.
UTM ParametersTracking parameters added to the destination URL, like utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc.
Destination NameA name to help you find it, like "Vela Daily Greens". It's not shown on your ads.
Call to ActionThe default button for ads that use this destination. You can pick it when you edit a destination.
Target AudienceYour ideal customer, described in detail.
Additional InfoAnything the page doesn't say, such as winning angles or the framework you prefer. Up to 1,000 characters.

Tips

  • One destination per product. Vela Daily Greens and Vela Protein Bar each get their own, so the copy for each stays specific.
  • Use a page with plenty of information. Koast reads the page to write copy, so a detailed product page gives better results than a bare checkout link.
  • Use Additional Info for what the page doesn't show, like proof points, guarantees or offers that aren't on the page yet.

Good to know

  • The destination sets the landing page for the ads you create in that flow. You can still change the Destination URL of an ad set or ad in its settings. See Assets and tracking.
  • The naming variable for a destination is still called Offer Name. See Naming conventions.
