Launch campaigns

Launch templates

Save your launch settings as a template and reuse them on the next campaign.

A launch template saves a campaign's settings, such as budget, targeting, placements, assets and naming, so you can apply them to the next campaign in one click.

Save a template

  1. Set up a campaign's settings the way you like them.

  2. In the campaign's settings drawer, select Launch Templates at the top, then + Create Template.

  3. In Save as Template, enter a Template Name and, if you like, a Description (Optional).

  4. Select Save Template.

Apply a template

  1. Open the settings of the campaign you're building and select Launch Templates.

  2. Find the template in the list (use Search... if you have many) and select it.

  3. Confirm with Apply Template. Applying replaces all the campaign's current settings, and you can't undo it.

If the campaign already exists on Meta, Koast keeps the assets it needs and tells you which ones it kept.

Rename or delete a template

In the Launch Templates list, select the pencil next to a template to open Edit Template. Change the name or description and select Save Changes. Select the bin to delete it. Deleting asks you to confirm and can't be undone.

What a template keeps

  • Saved: all the campaign settings, including objective, budget and bidding, placements, targeting, assets and tracking, naming formats and the enhancement switches.
  • Not saved: the schedule's start and end dates. Set those for each campaign.
  • Who sees it: templates you save are yours. Templates saved by an organization admin are shared with the whole organization. Templates aren't tied to one ad account, so check the page and pixel after you apply one in a different ad account.

Launch templates and structure templates

A launch template holds settings only. It doesn't add ad sets or ads. A structure template saves a whole campaign shape (the campaign, its ad sets and ads) to build again and again. See Structure templates: build once, launch on repeat.
