Start a campaign
Start a new campaign with the agent, by hand, by import or by cloning.
Every campaign starts as a draft in the campaign builder. You pick how to fill it: with the Koast Agent, by hand, by importing a live campaign, or by cloning one you already have.
Before you start
- Pick the ad account you want to launch into in the sidebar switcher. The new draft belongs to that ad account.
- View Only members can't start campaigns. The Launch button doesn't show for them.
Open the chooser
Select Launch in the sidebar, or press ⌘L (Ctrl+L on Windows). In All Accounts, pick the ad account first.
Or, in Ads Manager, select the main part of + New Campaign.
Koast opens a new draft and shows New Campaign with the question "How do you want to launch?". Pick one of the options below.
An empty draft always opens on this chooser, so you can come back to it later from the Drafts tab.
The four options

Whichever you pick, you land in the same builder, and nothing goes live until you publish.
Skip the chooser
The caret next to + New Campaign in Ads Manager goes straight to a flow:

You can also press ⌘K and pick New campaign, Clone campaign or Create campaign with Koast Agent from the Create group. In All Accounts, each of these asks for an ad account first.
Clone a campaign
Cloning copies a campaign you've built before into a new draft. The clone keeps the same structure and settings, and it starts paused.
Open Clone Campaign: pick Clone from the + New Campaign caret, or select See all in the chooser.
Search with Search campaigns... or pick one under Recent campaigns.
Select Clone. The copy opens in the builder, ready to change.
Good to know
- A clone starts paused, so it won't spend until you turn it on.
- Importing brings a live campaign into Koast as it is. Cloning makes a new campaign from one. See Import live campaigns.
