Launch campaigns

Assets and tracking

The page, Instagram account, pixel and tracking settings for each launch.

The Assets & Tracking section tells the ad platform who the ads are from, where they send people and how conversions are counted. It's in the settings for campaigns, ad sets and ads.

Identity

SettingWhat it does
REFRESH ASSETSChecks your ad platform for missing or new assets, such as pages and pixels. Refreshing is limited: if it says so, try again in 5 minutes.
Facebook PageThe page your ads run from, representing your business.
Instagram Account (Optional)The Instagram account shown on your ads. It's needed for Instagram placements.

Whop On Whop the field is called Page: "Select the page your ads will run from". A Whop ad account has one page, and every Whop launch needs it. You can also create or import a page from that field.

If a page or Instagram account is missing, see Missing pages, pixels or ad accounts and Instagram accounts: professional and linked to a Page.

Tracking

SettingWhat it does
PixelThe pixel that tracks conversions.
Conversion EventThe event you optimize for. Pick one from your pixel, or type your own pixel event name. Pick the pixel first.
  • Traffic campaigns don't use a conversion event.
  • Lead campaigns with instant forms don't use a pixel or a conversion event. See Lead campaigns.
  • Whop On Whop the pixel is managed for your ad account, so there's nothing to pick. Conversion events come from Whop's standard list, such as purchase, add to cart, initiated checkout, complete registration and lead. See Set up the Koast pixel.

Lead forms

With the Lead Generation objective you also get USE INSTANT FORMS and Lead Form. Both are set on the campaign and apply to all its ad sets. See Lead campaigns. Meta

Shop

With Website Conversions and Enable shop turned on, you can pick a Catalog (Optional) for dynamic product ads, then a Product or Product Set. Catalogs come from your Facebook Page, so pick the page first. Meta

SettingWhat it does
Destination URLWhere people land when they click your ad.
Display Link (Optional)The shorter link shown on your ad, such as vela.example/daily-greens.
UTM Parameters (Optional)Tracking parameters added to the URL, such as utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=cpc. Up to 512 characters.

When you launch into several ad accounts, each account can override the destination URL, display link and UTM parameters. See Launch into several ad accounts at once.

Names

Three fields set how Koast names what it creates: Campaign Name Format, Ad Set Name Format and Ad Name Format. See Naming conventions.
