Review, launch and read the results
Check your campaign before it goes live, launch it and read the results.
Before anything goes live, Koast checks your campaign against your ad account and your destination pages. Once it's clear, you launch and watch each campaign go live.
Review and launch
In the builder, select the publish button. It reads Publish for a new campaign, or Publish changes when you've edited something live.
Review & Launch opens. While Koast checks, the launch button reads Checking…. Hover it to see "Checking this launch against your ad account and destination pages".
Read the counts at the top: New Campaigns, New Ad Sets and New Ads.
Check each campaign card's status. Fix anything marked Needs Attention (see below).
Select Launch to Meta (or Launch to Whop), or press Enter.
What the review shows
Each campaign gets a card with a status:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ready to Launch | It has new ad sets or ads and nothing is wrong. |
| Needs Attention | Something has to be fixed first. The problems are listed under the chip. Expand one for details. |
| Live in Meta (or Whop) | It's already live and has nothing new to create. |
Launch stays greyed out until every problem is fixed. Hover the button to see why, for example "2 validation errors - fix before launching". Typical problems are a campaign with no ad sets or ads, a budget under the minimum, or a setting your ad account doesn't support. See Validation messages and budget minimums.
When you're editing a live campaign
The review lists your edits in two groups:
- What will be changed: each edited field with its old and new value.
- Will not be applied: edits the ad platform won't take on a live campaign, with the reason. On Meta, for example, ad copy can't change once an ad is live.
See Edit a live campaign.
Warnings for Whop ad accounts
Whop- No pixel on a page. If an ad points to a page where your pixel isn't installed, the review says so. Whop won't create an ad for a page it can't measure, so install the pixel there and check again. See Set up the Koast pixel.
For a Koast ad account, the review also checks billing:
- No payment method. "Add a payment method to launch", with Add payment method.
- Agreement not signed. "Sign the advertising agreement", with Sign the agreement.
See Koast ad accounts: launch blocked, card declined, payment failed.
Watch it launch
After you launch, a progress window opens with a card per campaign. You can close it: the launch keeps going in the background. Reopen it any time with View Launch Progress in the builder.
The title tells you how it went:
| Title | What it means |
|---|---|
| Launching Your Campaign | Still going. |
| Campaign Launch Complete | Everything went live. |
| Campaign Launch Partially Complete | Some campaigns or ads made it and some didn't. |
| Campaign Launch Failed | Nothing went live. |
Each card carries a chip: QUEUED, LAUNCHING, LAUNCHED, CREATED, NOT ACTIVE or FAILED. When you launch into several ad accounts, the card shows how many are done, like "2/3", and lists each account with its campaign ID and a View in Ads Manager link.
Created, not active
The campaign exists on the ad platform but couldn't be switched on. Turn it on yourself in Ads Manager. Don't relaunch it: relaunching builds a second campaign instead of resuming this one.
If something fails
- Open the card to read what went wrong.
- Select Copy Launch ID and send it to support with a screen recording. The launch ID lets us find your launch.
- In the builder, Retry Launch or Retry Failed Campaigns tries again for whatever didn't go out.
For the full list of outcomes and fixes, see Launch results: partial, removed, action required.
